What is hyperemesis? Hyperemesis is defined as: Hyperemesis gravidarum (from Greek hyper and emesis and Latin gravida; meaning "excessive vomiting of pregnant women") is a severe form of morning sickness, with unrelenting, excessive pregnancy-related nausea and/or vomiting that prevents adequate intake of food and fluids.

I just read your entire blog. I'm 24 weeks pregnant with my fourth and I have suffered through hyperemesis with each pregnancy. I am so sorry you are suffering. I live in CA and I am suffering with you.
I have never had much luck with picc lines. They always end up getting infected. This time around I'm taking unison with my zofran and it seems to be working a teeny bit better than my previous pregnancies. I knew I was having a girl because my nausea started at week two. With my boys, it started between weeks six and eight.
I will definitely keep you in my prayers. You can do it. You have to.
Send me your e-mail address I would love to talk!
